I have had a great experience at Autumn Hills Apartments. We just relocated out of state, but the two years I stayed at Autumn hills has been great. The rent is cheaper than the other apartments near by, the square footage is larger, there is not a lot of turn over in management/employees which is nice. The property manager is really nice, my work hours often conflict with there hours and she even calls to ask about bring up my packages. I kept changing my move out date and time many times and she never seemed annoyed or anything. She was previously married to military & understands the struggles that come with that (which is amazing). The maintenance guy is really nice, same day or next day for any work order I’ve put in. He calls first and follows up. Additionally I’ve been locked out twice (one was an EARLY Saturday morning before work) and each time he did not complain and was there in less than 10 mins saying it was not a problem. The apartments were clean and in new condition. Anytime they were going to be in your apartment they let you know. My move out was smooth and the manager provided a GREAT move out checklist with transferring electric & gas info - plus what needed to be accomplished for the move out. In the lease it is very clear and up front and states a small amount of your deposit will be nonrefundable. Super clear this is for patching holes, painting, carpet cleaning, advertising, etc I would imagine.... this is more than fair in my opinion and the fact that it is literally in the contract helps maintain transparency with residents. The rest of my deposit was refunded & that was awesome! I almost didn’t check this place out because of poor reviews, but I stopped and talked to 3 different residents at the time who didn’t have complaints & so glad I did. My mom said people usually leave reviews when they are mad, not the 50 other people who were happy... & she was right as always.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I applied for a 2 bedroom and paid the $35 application fee. When I applied, the price advertised for the apartment was $850 with a $45 fee for water, sewer, and trash. And then the $400 deposit OAC (which I thought was a little high for an apartment to begin with, especially with no amenities). I was approved quickly and then she laid it on me that the deposit was going to be $600. I, of course, was confused with having great credit and sufficient income. When I asked her why it increased she responded with, "I'm not sure why they increased it, they didn't give me a reason." When she did get "the reason", I was told that it had nothing to do with me and that they were "raising it for everyone." I let her know that I would think about it. I figured with the rent being so great for the quality of apartment and size, why not consider it, right? Well after two days I called back and let her know that I would pay the $600 with one condition, she would need to find a way for me to look at the apartment I would be moving into for me to gauge the condition (there was no way for me to look at an apartment prior to applying as there were no units empty at the time). She responds with, "Oh by the way, the rent is raising to $950 plus the $45 fee." Of course I told her absolutely not as I have a strict budget and would have never even applied if the $950 rent and $600 deposit were advertised. I requested that they remove the inquiry from my credit as well as refund the $35 application fee. That was a month ago, and of course I haven't heard back. In additon, she argued with me about when they run people's credit it doesn't show up on their report because it is a soft inquiry. I had to educate her on how credit inquiries work. That just goes to show you the incompetence of these people, and how they are still in business is beyond me. I would highly recommend AGAINST even applying for an apartment here, they are con artists to the fullest extent.

I was very excited to find these apartments because the size was amazing for the cost in this area. We are a Military couple looking for a place that is quiet and safe. I was greeted very kindly by the apartment Manager Beverly and it seemed like a good place to live. I first went alone to view the apartment she didn't ask for my id or any other information she gave me the keys to an available unit that still had peoples things inside she said not to worry about it. It seemed the apartment it self was well cared for so I wanted to bring my other half in to check it out. When I brought him in we listened for about 15 min of gossip about one of the current tenants as well as a recently evicted resident. She again gave us a set of keys to show him. Our lease is up in the end of September and the one bedroom was available by the 25th of September which was perfect. I asked about the criteria which she basically said as long as you make 3 times the rent without a criminal history you should be fine. Seeing as neither of us have any criminal history, poor credit, or any other ill matters on rental history, should've been fine. We paid $70 in application fees and got a voicemail stating "The owners said you didn't meet the criteria" Beverly said herself that she didn't understand what criteria the owners thought we didn't meet and she was sorry but they will only respond via email. I emailed them asking what criteria wasn't met and NO REPLY I don't know what "criteria" they have but, apparently being black, having credit, having no criminal history, and making enough money aren't within their standards..... TWO THUMBS UP!! Wonder how many people you're collecting fees from with no explanation.

These apartments are nice. The property manager is very nice and I have never met the owner. I have lived here for 7 months and the only complaint I have is that the people that remove snow suck they take forever to do it if they do it at all. Other than that this is a clean quiet nice place to live. My daughter and I love it.

The size and price of these apartments will draw you win but the list of negatives is so long it ends up not being worth it!!! The property manager BEVERLY is very unprofessional and always rude!! She leaves the office before the time they have posted on the door that they close, making it hard to talk to her or request something when you have a full time job. Whenever you have a complain or question she has a i don't care B***** attitude, ALWAYS. The WALLS are paper thin. You can hear your neighbor's pee hit the toilet . When they do their laundry it sounds like you are having an earthquake in your apartment. You can hear conversations, arguments, EVERYTHING I REPEAT EVERYTHING from your top and bottom neighbors. The walls have no insulations. They do not remove the snow in the winter until late in the afternoon, sometimes the sun melts it before they clean it up. They will ALWAYS bother you with some type of "inspection." They always say it's mandatory and that you basically have no choice and they will go in your apartment weather you are home or not. NO PEACE OR PRIVACY WHATSOEVER. I could go on, like I said the list of negatives is VERY LONG. Bottom line is don't move here just because of the price and size... it's not worth it, I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!!!!

We liked this apartment because of the size at first. But then we felt like if we were going to live in apartment we want all the apartment amenities (pool, fitness center, clubhouse). All this apartment has is a couple playgrounds and the lease office.

IF YOU HAVE THE CHOICE DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner does not care about his tennants. The property manager is a nice lady but the owner is cheap and will not do anything to help his tennants out if they have a problem. they give you 0 options for who you want to go through for your t.v. or internet. The company they use for their internet is very slow(even if you pay for their "fastest" option) and you cant use another company. You cant get hd tv through direct tv (who happens to be the leading tv provider) and the owner is to cheap to pay a few dollars to upgrade the wiring. I have been trying to get them to upgrade their direct tv for the past 6 months and the owner wont do it even after direct tv offered to pay half of the expense to upgrade the buildings wiring. It's rediculous if you have a concern they wont take car of it and never call you back to let you know whats going on. You as the tennant has to do all the follow up. This has been the worst expeience i've ever had at an apartment complex and i can't wait for my lease to be up!!!!
